Dear JagoInvestor,
Recently i came across ELSS, i was investing 5K per month (before 5th of every month 🙂 ) in PPF for the past two years. Now am planning to invest more , So upon surfing , some people are suggesting ELSS is best compared to PPF, as PPF will return only around 8 %.
1. Is ELSS is really best compared to PPF ? Am planning to invest for 20 -25 years.
2. Am planning to invest 10 K per month. Please suggest me two good ELSS schemes. and how much I can continue in PPF ?
My age : 26
Marital Status : Single
Salary: 47 K per month

Can i switch or PORT between ELSS Schemes
I think thats not possible Anil !
You can surely invest in ELSS as a long term option . Its a good choice compared to PPF for such a long term.
Some good funds are Reliance Tax Saver, ICICI Pru Tax Saver
