Hello,

Iam 35 years old NRI and wanted to take a life insurance policy. I had an expensive Jeevan Anand which I surrendered and successfully got some money back. Now, iam looking for a simple term policy. I came across 2 options…appreciate if you guyz can help me decide one among them.

Product A: HDFC Life Click to Protect (Code T2P), Policy Term 10 years. Annual premium is INR 9900 (approx).

Product B: Amulya Jeevan (Plan no 190) Policy Term 10 years. Annual premium is INR 26400 (approx).

Iam confused as cost wise HDFC is so tempting, what are the inside riders which are negative.

Thanks,

Prashanth

    Hello Bond Bhai,

Yes, HDFC Life Click to Protect is an online policy, they have an offline policy also which is 1000-2000 Rs more than the online policy value. With regard to both these offline policy, both accepts NRI’s. Now please suggest which one is good to go for?

One is a Online policy and the other is a offline policy thru an agent etc. The online policies you directly get it from the company and there are no middle men/agents etc. Hence they are cheap.

Before answering anything further, I dont think any (or probably most) of the companies offer “Online” term plans for NRIs. Check before proceeding.
