advice on new credit card

sir ,
1. I am new to this forum , iam 32 year defence employee plz help me purchase a credit card (which one to buy) …..what should i ask from the bank or its representation and what all should i check from the bank before buying it.
2. though i was thinking 4 sbi credit card, is there any special offer in credit cards etc for defence personel

      i want credit card for normal usage like booking tickets etc. very normal usage
