I recently got a very strange sms:
Dear Customer, Your Ac No. ****** Linked with Aadhaar No ***** has been Rejected by NPCI.
I have a bank account with SBI. After I got this sms, I contacted SBI regarding this, but they had no clue about this message. Since then, I have not been receiving LPG subsidy in my bank account. I also called Aadhar Card helpline, but they too didn’t have any clue about this sms. Upon searching on internet, I saw that there are many other people with same problem searching for a solution.
Any idea how to resolve this? I called NPCI office in mumbai, but didn’t get any help from them.

I got a SMS from bank , my adhar link has been expired, but reason found , why it is cancelled
Aadhaar card is not mandatory for receiving LPG Gas subsidy. A new system PAHAL is in place wherein those having Aadhaar linked bank accounts can given Aadhaar and those not having Aadhaar number they can simply give the bank account number.
Go to MyLPG website.

Proceed according to your Gas agency.
Register online.
Create Service Request and submit your bank account number with IFSC code online.
Next time you order cylinder they will transfer the subsidy amount to the bank account number you provided.

Aadhar card is not mandatory to receive LPG subsidy . You can directly give your bank account details to your LPG distributor and fill form no. 4 , non Aadhar based subsidy transfer.You can do it yourself Online visit http://www.aadharcard.info/subsidy-of-gas-direct-to-your-bank-account-under-dbtl-scheme/.
