    Dear isharji,

3 times the investment in 15 years is achievable but it won’t be able to beat the inflation after 15 years.

    1) Do you have any specific goal/purpose to get 3 times the money ?
    2) How did you arrive at the decision that you want 3 times the investment and not 10 times ?
    3) You want to invest in lump sum or some variable amount every month ?

This is a very subjective question and i guess no body has confirmed answer to this.

But yes, provided you are a disciplined investor this can be achieved, however this also depends on lot of factors. I would advice to seek help of any financial adviser to judge your risk taking capabilities and amout you have to invest to achieve your goal.

it can be possible if you invest in stocks. But your time horizon 15 Yrs is too long.

10 Yrs is enough to get triple through Stocks. But first concentrate on how to make your money double in 5 Yrs.

Or else, Invest in High risky Mutual Funds. I mean Small and Mid-Cap Mutual funds.

I do not knowledge about a stock mutual funds. so another option is available
