Iam a small builder constructing flats in chennai. Usually the flats are built with G+2. Ground floor flat + slit, first floor – two flats, second floor – 1 flat. The approx total builtup area of the flat is around 3600 sqft. My question is whether should i charge service tax from my customers who book the flats during construction stage. My other applciable charges apart from built up area is EB and car parking charges. Pls advise…
