SBI Saving Plus Account – How does it work ?

SBI :

I have an existing Saving Account.

To park my contingency fund, i opened an Saving Plus Account.

Now, when i deposited cash to my Saving Plus Account it got debited from my Saving Plus Account and got credited to my Saving Account.So always my Saving Plus amount is \”zero\”.

Is this the way Saving plus account behave for SBI , or the bank have made a mistake of linking my Saving Plus account to Saving account.

I would like to have the mod / FD created under my saving plus account only.

Please help me.
