I had taken a mediclaim policy for my parents 9 years ago and new india assurance company did not send renewal notice this time , it also slipped out of our mind to renew.
My parents are 61 and 67 years and medical insurance covered was for 5 lakhs each. Now they say we cannot renew bcoz of 2 month lapse and if we renew we can offer only 1.5 lakhs for senior citizen cover.
