ONHello Manish
I’ve been owning SBI Life Maha Anand II policy since11-JAN-2010 (mode:half yearly,10k, in Equity). The 3 years blocking period has been completed.
Currrently my fund value is around 60K. This is equal to total amount I’ve paid till now.
Should I carry on OR
Is it good time to be out?
Thanks & Regards,
Manoj

Dear Manoj, first of all please purchase a term plan for yourself. then surrender this ULIP. After that reinvest the amount as per your goal. Please read your policy bond also for applicable surrender charges if any.
Thanks
Ashal
Dear Manoj,
Yes, you can withdraw the Fund Value (can keep fluctuating as per market movement till withdrawal date).
As for reinvestment of the amount received, you need to first decide, for what goal you you wish to invest and for how long. Accordingly, allocation can be made to debt/equity mutual funds or other options.
But even before doing all that, make sure you have adequate life insurance cover. If you don’t, you can buy a term cover at very economical rates.
Hope this helps.
Hello Ashal
It was mixed of both. But I want it for investment purpose now.
If I withdrawal now, the refund money will be FUND value shown as of now in my policy?
Thanks & Regards,
Manoj
Dear Manoj, what prompted you to purchase this policy in first place? Was it for insurance or for investment or for any other reason?
Please clarify.
Thanks
Ashal
