Hi Jagoinvestor forum,
Recently I came across your website and found it very useful for individuals who just started their career.
my main intention of writing here is to get your valuable advice on TERM INSURANCE, since after reading content under Term insurance category I am willing to buy one but finding it difficult to decide which one to buy.
Please adivice me good term insurance which meets my following requirement
Sum insured :50 Lakh
Riders : Accidental death benefit, Critical illness rider
I will be waiting for your valuable suggestion

If you fill the form honestly the company should not matter. You could choose depending on your comfort level and premium paying ability.
Every one makes a call like that only.
You can look at claim settlement ratios but the general assumption is that claims which were not settled by companies are cases where forms where not filled up truthfully or correctly.
So being honest while applying for term insurance is most important. The company does not matter.
Ask the company before applying if there will be medical tests.
A company which asks you to do a medical test (they will bear the cost) at least takes the due care before issuing policies.
There are companies which offer 1 crore without medicals. I will avoid those
