ONHi, I have shortlisted the following funds to do a lumpsum investment via STP spread over the next one year’s time. Then, I am planning to continue via SIP in these. Please give me your suggestions on which are the funds I should invest in or all are ok to invest.
HDFC Prudence Hybrid – Equity
DSPBR Top 100 Equity Equity – Large
Franklin India Bluechip Equity – Large
HDFC Equity Fund Growth Equity – Multicap
HDFC Top 200 Growth Equity – Large & Mid
ICICI Pru Dynamic Growth Equity – Large & Mid
IDFC Premier Equity Equity – Mid & Small
SBI Dynamic Bond Debt – Income
Should I invest equal amount in all these or give weightage to any specific fund?

I have a surplus 50,000 rupees which I would like to invest in Equities …
I am planning to invest 25,000 in HDFC Equity Tax Saver and 25,000 in Quantum Long Term Equity funds for a period of 3/5 years.
Dear Ashal, thanks. No need for LC & MC and Debt funds?
Dear wealthucreate, thanks. I am M/41, Gulf NRI, with an investment horizon of 20 years, moderate to high risk taker.
Dear Venkatesh, please my reply –
HDFC Prudence – a balanced fund so it’s Eq. + Debt
Franklin India Bluechip – A large cap fund
IDFC Prem. Eq. – a midcap fund
Thanks
Ashal
what is your age? If you are young and just started off earning, you should focus more on equity funds. If you are almost about to retire. Be biased towards balanced funds or debt funds.
Information on your age, commitments, liability, potential to save will help in giving better response.
Dear Venkatesh, only 3 funds are enough for you.
HDFC Prudence
Franklin India Bluechip
IDFC Prem. Eq.
Thanks
Ashal
