Hi I want to invest for my 5 month old. Can anyone provide me investment options with potential return on investment? It may be a single premium policy or may be premium at regular interval. Let me know what are the best options available

I am NO expert on MF schemes, so I would resist from suggesting any. I would like you to do your own research and you’ll find a plenty of good schemes. Going by popular advice, you may opt any scheme with CRISIL rating 1 or 2.

Thanks a lot Nikhil. I was expecting answer on the similar lines. Not sure but would you also be able to suggest few pure equity schemes which can be invested in? Mostly I’m looking for growth funds, spine may be tax free (elss).

Look for pure equity investment with regular installments. Looking at the market right now, I would suggest putting small amount of money every month in one or two mutual fund schemes. You may opt one large cap and one small/mid cap fund for diversification.

DON’T BUY moneyback plans! Time is on your side.
