Is PPF A/c with IDBI is safe as SBI and with same benefits ?

I had open PPF account with IDBI  in 2013 with my name. My question is : holding PPF A/c with IDBI is safe as SBI ? Will I get same benefit after 15 years ?

    It is safe in any bank. just compare the features/userfriendlyness you have in online banking.

    Has someone said SBI is more secure and beneficial that IDBI ?? How did you come across this doubt ??

    Yes absolutely both are govt. banks, so they are safe and the benefit is the same….

    Actually the money in your ppf account will be moved to the government account. The interest that you get is also paid by government, but not by banks.

    banks are just a bridge between us and government.

      During my search I heard only SBI and post office name for PPF. so just query came into my mind. Once again than you for giving prompt response. 🙂
