ONHi,
I’m planning to go for a Home loan of 25 lacs(20 yrs). After reasearching through, I have shortlisted SBI or HDFC for availing the loan. Can someone let me know to which bank I should go for? Also let me know what are the available schemes in SBI or HDFC as such…

Dear Muthu, Initial prompt service (HDFC) or long term benefit (SBI Max Gain) ‘ll be a personal call.
Thanks
Ashal
Thanks Ashal. Indeed I checked for the SBI Max Gain product. It was a good product for those who have surplus and also need to withdraw incase of emergencies.
But considering the service and time to process the loan, HDFC tops right?
Dear Muthu, In case of SBI, I w’d recommend a special product named SBI Max Gain. You ‘ll be able to save a lot of interest outgo over the period through this product.
Please check with your local SBI Branch or google it. Please ask here again if you are not satisfied with the info you get from other sources.
Thanks
Ashal
Both banks are good. HDFC is the largest home loan lender, and has good customer service.
But, more than the bank, the interest rate, the down payment, the loan process, the loan terms etc should decide your choice.
