Dear Sir, 

I am going to purchase proposed N.A plot  near Dapoli. Actually I had given token amt also .this scheme spread over 240 Acres,there are so many survey Nos having so many sub part for each survey No. I asked the promoter to show me all INDEX II of his Sale Deed done between him and the previous land owner and also asked him to show me the 7/12 extracts having his name mentioned on it . The promoter replied me that he will show me all after doing agreement to sale and after giving 20% down payment . I gave him 20% amount by way of Cheque which is debited from my A/C. Now I am confused . Therefore my question is that ,Should I sign the Agreement for Sale before checking these Docs.The promoter is doing the Agreement for sale by Notary Is it legal? please guide me and give me some tips of precaution while doing so. I will remain thankful to you forever.
