ONHello all,
I have NRE a/c with Axis Bank and Demat A/c with DBFS which is partner broker with DOHA bank, Qatar. I have existing PIS a/c with Axis bank. Recently Axis bank launched the Axisdirect Facility and i want to switch my demat a/c from DBFS to Axisdirect. ( convinience purpose). i have some existing stocks in my current demat a/c.
How i can transfer the existing shares if i open new demat with axisdirect?
Anybody aware with charges of axisdirect comparison with icicidirect?
Can anybody eloborate the process step by step?
Thanks to all in advance.

in you case , first u should open demat a/c. and axis bank. and then after t/f the shares through DI slips with closing cum trasnfer letter.its a easy , do’t worry…….ashish gupta
i think, transfer from one demate a/c to another demate a/c is through transfer slip mentioning the existing holding to be submitted to the old demate a/c .for nri , if it is different,i don’t know. as a resident, i have done transfer two times and found no problem.
No one has pass through such situation?
Any idea or comment Manish???
