TRAIL COMMISSION ON MUTUAL FUND HOLDING

POSTED BY naresh_14 ON January 17, 2011 7:23 pm COMMENTS (7)

Who will get trail commission on investments made DIRECT in past if the broker code is changed from “DIRECT” to “ARN-XXXXX” in view of latest guidelines. New Broker or AMC?

I know that this question is a re-visited as no answer means it deserves an answer.

Useful information!! One more tool to make money…Pile it on guys…

  3. In this situation (Direct->new broker), the new broker will get the trailing commission.

If it were old broker -> new broker, neither broker will get the TC, and the AMC gets to keep it.

I think there was a further clarification on this point few days back. Such trail commission going into some investor protection fund, or something along these lines.

Yea .. its its from broker A -> B , then its goes to a investor education fund , B will get trial only if he has a NOC from A .. as far as I know

Great…that means the investment made by my better half through direct route can earn me trail commission if she wishes to let me earn out of those! Awareness has its own advantages on sly though….
