As per the Annexure-K provident fund statement received from my current company a few days back the date of commencement of the scheme is mentioned as 07/01/2008. This is the date I joined my 2nd company. Whereas I have been contributing to PF since 01/07/2006.
The period I was in the first company, which is unfortunately closed now, is missed.
As a consequence of this the *total period of continuous service* does not take into account the initial 1-half years of service and contribution.
What steps do you suggest? I have the EPF A/c no. with me from my first company. The PF A/c was held with –
Regional PF commissioner, Barkatpura, Hyderabad
