Hi ,
I took education loan in April 2010 . However there is a moratorium period of 15 months on the principal repayment , which will start only in Aug 2011 . However I have been paying the interest since the beginning itself. Since i have some taxable income in FY 10-11, can i claim this interest deducution for FY 2010-11 under section 80E or am I eligible to claim it only when the principal repayment has started ?
