My wife had a PPF account prior to our marriage. Post marriage, we changed her name on the pan card (including the first name as well).
We would like to continue 40k/annum investment in this account to keep it active for 15 years.
1) Do you foresee any issues at the time of withdrawal due to pan card name change meaning do we need to furnish PAN details at the time of withdrawal if the amount is big? She does have an active SB acc with the old name.
2) Alternatively, should I just put minimum 500 rs in this account?
We don’t want to go through the cumbersome procedure of name change of the ppf account… hence the question.
