Is there a benchmark on how much rental income is acceptable if I want to invest in Property ?

Hi

If I have Rs 50 lakhs in cash that I can invest in a property that can pay a monthly rent of Rs 10,000, is that a good investment? Is there a way to calculate this or benchmark on how much rent (in %) should be acceptable from a property if purchasing only for investment purposes?
