Income Tax Benefit for Registation & Stamp Duty for New House

I purschsed under construction flat in Hyderabad in 2012 for 35 lacs and i have got it registered(paid:1,60, 500) in March 2013.Can i take exemption under 80 C for Financial Year 2013-2014 ?I will get possesion in April 2014.Please advise..
