I am investing in Franklin India bluechip MF (DIRECT , GROWTH) fund since a year. I am investing it for long term goal (like more than 10 years or so). I feel since a year there is no significant return for a fund. I know, one should not judge or look for returns in a 1 year only. But looking at market condition and current NAV, I feel it would be good to move few fund to some dept MF so that there would be assured returns as well. Once market goes down, I can again move fund from dept MF to Equity. Will this strategy work for maximising returns ?
Other, I have invested directly with Franklin Templeton’s Fund House. From Franklin’s investor portal, looks like I can switch funds to Franklin’s dept fund only. Portal does not allowing to switch fund to dept MF which are not from franklin Templeton. In such case what can be done?
