ITR2 aks for this
| Salary (Excl all exempt/ non-exempt allowances, perquisites ,profit in lieu of sal as they are shown separately below) |
This means that HRA, conveyance etc are not allowed here. And this actually misses those components for tax exemption because ‘Income chargeable under head salaries doesn’t take care of these.
Finally I get tax payable (though its zero in form 16)
Please suggest.
