Hi,
I want to file my income tax returns for the financial year 2012-13 but i would like to ask that whether i can save anything at the last minute in my tax liability by making any changes
The following information is about my gross income and savings mentioned in my Form 16:
Total gross income: Rs.704801
Savings:
under section 80C (CPF, PPF, GSLIS, LIC premium, Mutual funds): Rs.107416
under section 80E (Interest on Education Loan): Rs.3286
Tax on total income: Rs.48820
Education cess @ 3%: Rs.1465
Tax payable: Rs. 50285
