Lately, I changed my company after 4 years of service and have not yet transferred/withdrawn my EPF amount. I have following queries:
1) In case I decide to withdraw the amount:
– I believe I can withdraw both PF amount as well as pension amount. Pls confirm.
– What is the tax liability in this case ? Tax is deducted at flat 10% rate and I need to tax as per my slab?
2) In case I decide to transfer the amount:
– Can I transfer only my PF amount and withdraw my pension amount?
– I am aware that this takes months/years so is there a way (agent preferable) to follow-up for quick transfer?
Pls Note that my earlier company EPFO office is based out of Thane and new one it based out Gurgaon.
