Hi, I have claimed 2 LTAs for the block year 2010-2013. once in 2010 and another in 2012.
Now I made a travel which started on 20 Dec 2013 and ended on 4 Jan 2014. I made a claim for this LTA for the block year 2014-2017 in FY 14-15 in my company but they rejected the claim saying that the travel is for the previous year and hence cannot be granted. My question is that because this travel started in 2013 and ended in 2014 why is this being considered as a travel in 2013, shouldn’t this qualify as a travel in 2014. Please advise
