Changing medical conditions in old insurance application form

Hi

I had taken a ULIP insurance policy about three years back. At that time, in the questionnaire for medical conditions, I had marked “No” for a question, which included “jaundice” also in it.

I realized this when I was filling another term insurance for myself. Now, I want to go back to the private insurance company and change the answer to the question.

What is the right way to go about doing it. Will the company honor my request to change ? Is there a risk to the existing policy ?
