After hours of research at Apollo Munich website when I called them to take a health policy, I was told that they do not issue policy to diabetics, though it is nowhere mentioned at their website. I already have a family floater from ICICI Lombard for 4 lakhs. However, I would like to make the total cover 10 lakhs (2 adults, 2 children) and have a policy with good features including day care procedures, critical illness, etc. I am the eldest member of the family, aged 38, having diabetes since 2006 which is under good control. Kindly advise a suitable policy.
