Will my 65 yrs old Mother get Health Insurance who is suffering from Osteoarthritis ?

Hi Guys,

My mother is around 65 Years now and I want to take a Mediclaim Insurance for her. I say around 65 because we don’t have her Birth Certificate so we don’t know her exact Date of Birth.

She is suffering for Osteoarthritis since 5 years now and also went through kidney dialysis last year. So, please help me with following question. Which Insurance Company I should approach? I’ve heard about BAJAJ ALLIANZ SILVER HEALTH, Is it good? Whether insurance company covers for Pre-Existing diseases like Arthritis?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

    Dear Sunil, no matter which insurer you opt, the cover ‘ll not be offered for existing desease. Keeping her age in mind, not many insurer ‘ll cover her. Please check with Sr. citizen policy of PSU insurers or Max Bupa. Please be ready to pay a hefty prem.
