   Dear Srinu, the only term policy I know should be purchased is the one, which covers your life till you have financial liabilities & once there are no more Financial liabilities, you need not that term cover & you do not get any money back from your term cover.

   if your query was meant for the insurance comanies like Aegon Religare, Aviva, HDFC, IPru, Kotak, Metlife, SBI ……, it’s a question of personal comfort.

   What do you mean by “which type”? May be your question was not clear to me:(

   Can you please tell what the different types you have come across or considering & what is that you want to achieve from a term policy (only insurance, insurance+ maturity return, insurance on death+ other insurance like PA, CI etc…there are so many combinations), then people can suggest you based on that..
