         Dear Ravi, think again. By investing in 3 funds from Midcap category, are you really diversifying or merely replicating the portfolio? Same for the large cap funds

            Large Cap MFs

            1.ICICI Pru Focused Bluechip Equity Retail – 3000/- monthly

            Small & Midcap MFs

            2.IDFC Premier Equity Plan A- 3000/-monthly

            Multi cap MFs

            3.DSPBR Equity – 3000/- monthly

   this is better time to start SIP in MFs..

   you can do SIP of 2000 each in these funds.

   Small & Midcap MFs
   HDFC Mid-Cap Opportunities
   ICICI Pru Discovery
   IDFC Premier Equity Plan A

   Large Cap MFs
   UTI Opportunities
   ICICI Pru Focused Bluechip Equity Retail

         Dear Ravi, for 10Y or more period from here onwards, please tone down your return expectations. It’s good if you expect 12% & get 15-18% in actual. But it ‘ll be very painful that you expect 15% & get 10-12%. You may found yourself off target at the end of your time frame if you are keeping such high return expectations.

               Dear Ravi, instead of giving a direct yes or no type answr, I w’d like you to check the portfolio of each of the funds mentioned by dear Ashish. Now tell me after this checking that you are getting real diversification under the suggested fund?
