My Goal :  House Maintenance, which would include a) white-wash, b) replacing old furniture, c) Any construction which would be desirable in future like extending home by adding another floor etc.

Since, I do not have timelines associated with the goal, I am confused as to which fund category should I invest in. Should it be entire debt or equity or mix and in which ratio. I even do not know the target amount, since the goal involves multiple goals. In order to start, I can invest 5k per month starting today. Any guidance would be appreciated.
