Dear Chintu, how much large umbrella (insurance cover) ‘ll you get from your Jeevan Anand policy?
Please answer your logic in detail for opting Jeevan Anand as your choice for your insurance needs?
thanks
Ashal
One can also refer the below article for PPF calculation

The amount is obviously different, however it can certainly help
Dear Chintu, if you are walking on a rainy day, ‘ll you purchase an umbrella which covers only 1/2 of your head or the umbrella which is large enough to cover your whole body?
Thanks
Ashal
ya i’ll go for an umbrella which is large enough to cover.
if i invest 25000 per annum in PPF how much amount i will get after 15 years ??
i don’t want to with draw this money for 15 years ..
expecting elaborate and suggestive answer..
Thank you
Hi Chintu,
Why did you choose LIC Jeevan Anand Policy and PPF as the investment avenues for your 25,000?
Jeevan Anand is an endowment plan and provides, very low returns as compared to even the FDs. Benefit is that you get some small life insurance which may not be sufficient for you.
PPF gives you better returns and also interest accumulated is Tax free. Amount invested in PPF is also provide exemption on income tax.
For life insurance, I suggest you look at an online term plan and insure yourself with a sufficient amount (about 12-15 times of your annual salary) for rest of the amount look at PPF (if you are not already exhausted your 80C limits)
Else, you may look at some other investment options such as Mutual Funds. You can gain knowledge about MF in this forum as well as various other sources (available online)
