Where should I invest after surrendering LIC Money back policy

I have a money back policy with LIC for 5 lacs purchased in 2007 and I am planning to surrender it. Please advise if I should surrender this and invest this amount somewhere else.

    Dear Abhi, please invest the amount where you can recover your past loss as well as some positive gain.
