What to do if someome failed to post signed ITR-V to CPC within 120 days?

Hi All,

I have searched many forums on internet regarding same question. People have different takes. Some say just speed post your ITR-V and CPC accepts delayed ITR-V, some say file ITR again as original and do not attempt revised return.

I have tried filing return again, but the system says “Only one original can be filed under section 139(4) or 139(5)” (i.e. before due date and after due date respectively). So should I file revised return in this case?

Thanks in advance!
