Health insurance is a type of insurance coverage that pays for the medical expenses of the insured. It can be reimbursed by the insured or the insurer can pay directly to the care provider.

Now a days, the cost for medication has been increased a lot. In case of any health problems, we have to use money from our savings for the medication. If we do this, our goals may be delayed, our financial life might be disturbed. If we have a health insurance, we can avoid these.
So, better take a health insurance.

Dear Sheetal, insurance is a risk covering tool. Be it for life or health or other things. We pay a prem. to transfer the risk (financial impact on us) from us to insurer. If the risk actually happens, insurer pays the cover amount else keep the prem. amount with it.
One needs to see the need of this risk tolerance for herself. In case one has enough financial resources, there is no need to go for any insurance. In case of short fall of resources, opt the insurance. As simple as that.
