What happens if I skip some month payment to PPF Account in ICICI Bank ?

Hey i just applied for a PPF account in icici bank and i wanted to know what happens if i don’t have any money in my account and i skips that month’s ppf ?? will they charge me for that?? or should i just give them the missed month’s ppf along with my next months pf ???

    You have to deposit at least Rs.500 in a financial year into your PPF account to have the PPF account active. Also you can only deposit 12 times into your PPF account in a financial year.

    You are supposed to deposit minimum Rs. 500 in a financial year only.
