Transfer of Shares and Units of Mutual funds from one Demat account to another?

Hi All,

I would like to know if I want to transfer the shares/units of mutual fund from my demat account to someone’s demat account? Is it possible? any idea?

    I think shares and MF can’t be given as GIFT experts please correct if I am wrong.
