Transfer of SBI acct from one city to another

Want to transfer my wife’s SBI acct from one branch to another. Would like to know 1)The mutual fund AMC’s should be informed or no 2)Will there be any harm to my mutual fund SIP’s. Will i have to register as new sip. kindly suggest.

    You need to update the IFSC code of new branch in AMC record.
