Transfer of Home insurance to SBI bank along with Loan itself ?

Hi

I need your help in below concern…

Actually we have taken Home loan for 22 lakh and we  took home insurance also in 2011 from HDFC bank. Now we want to shift the loan to SBI. So can we transfer home insurance also to SBI along with home loan?

    Dear Smita, yes you can port your insurance along with your loan. Actually you should inform SBI in advance that you ‘ll port your home insurance also.
