ONHello All,
I have a query regarding the Demat Account offered by various brokerage houses. According to the information I have, a broker has a right to buy/ sell stocks on our behalf. Although we may or may not have instructed for the same, as the form filled by us give the brokerage firm the right to transact on our behalf.
Is there a way by which we can stop the brokerage firm to transact on our behalf untill and unless we have instructed for the same? Can we deny the brokerage house the right on our money?
Please share your inputs.
Thanks and Regards,
J

Dear J, unless you are not instructing either over, phone, physically or online, a broker can not sell your shares with out your permission.
Thanks
