Hi,

Plannng to take Aegon religare for 50 lac for male 33.
Please advice how is the policy.

    Search for multiple plans on this new site started by some people I know, Zibika.com. I did not see the Aegon plan on this site that you are refering to but I did compare it to the other plans here and found equally low cost policies from insurers like Aviva, Bharti Axa, HDFC, etc.

    As per the last year’s IRDA data, they were not doing great in terms of settlement ratio. Settlement ratio and Reputation of the company are very important. Yes the premiums are tempting, so i would go for split. one of the term plan would be with establised player with good settlement rate another could be one with attractive premium.

    Policy is not very old.. but their premium is relatively lower than other companies.
    They had only 7 cases out of which 6 were resolved.. So Claim Settlement Ratio is 85%
