Hi Guys, I hold a HDFC Term plan and would like to increase the cover before I take up employment abroad in the US. I called the HDFC call center and they mentioned that it is not possible to increase cover within the same plan. Would you guys recommend taking an additional term plan here or take one in the US? Also, for the existing plan – before I move abroad, I’m guessing the only procedure is that I update my contact details online? Please let me know if any of you guys have any experience on this.
