Term insurance (iProtect) – Will it still apply if I move abroad?

As mentioned in the title, I have an ICICI iProtect term insurance policy that I had taken 3 years ago. Now, I might be moving abroad for job purposes, for an unspecified amount of time. It could be anywhere between 3 years and 10 or more. My query is, if I continue to pay the insurance premium online every year, will the policy be applicable even if something happens to me while I am abroad?

If no, then is there any option to migrate the policy to international coverage or something of that sort? Any info would be helpful.

    @Ashal,
    I have already sent a mail to ICICI with the queries. Will update here once I receive any info from them. I just wanted to know if someone has any prior experience with regard to the same..

    Dear Prasad, generally the situation you are telling is covered under your life insurance policy. Still you should confirm it with your insurer. Also please confirm about the documentation for claim settlement if death happens outside India.
