I am a physically handicapped person and I applied a term insurance policy by online from Aviva life insurance on 25th July 2013, for 55 Lakh sum assured (because below 55 lakh there is no medical) around one month is gone, during a month medical sample collected by aviva and a deformity questionnaire form given for filling and submitted the same to aviva.
I am a non-smoker, non-alcoholic and non-tobacco person and same thing i mentioned while filling the proposal form online, finally a mail received with meidcal reports from aviva in which mentioned “extra premium to be paid Rs. 1605” as Urine Cotitine is “Positive” in medical report,
I asked to Aviva that i am non-somoker then how Urine Continine could show as positive and then aviva replied “condition will remain same”
So my query is if i am a non-smoker person then why should i pay more premium to aviva, i request to all please review my case and suggest any good answer so that i can talk to aviva for the same.
