Dear Sandip, insurer ‘ll try to check into details and if it’s found that facts regarding death have been hided, the claim may be rejected. Do it at your own risk.

    Thanks

I know this thread is old but had an query..

What if wife hide the fact that her husband committed suicide, it could avoid many inquiries from insurance company regarding suicide. And If I am not wrong, death certificate do not says that death is due to suicide or so..

  3. Dear CP, as the policy in question is more than 2Y old, the claim ‘ll be processed & awarded. Please file the claim immediately.

    Thanks

    Ashal

    Yes,

Suicide is an exception only within 1 year of start of policy.
