TAX REBATE ON LOAN FOR RENOVATION AND EXTENSION OF HOUSE

Dear Sir,

             I want to avail loan from a bank for renovation and extension of my house.Shall I get the loan from a bank on concessional housing loan rate for this purpose? Secondly, shall I get Income Tax rebate on this loan as normal housing loan ? Please guide.

    Dear Rakesh, what sort of concessional you are asking for for loan? Regarding Tax benefit, it’s limited to just 30000 Rs. only for interest on renovation loan.
