Tax exemption of Interest on education loan

Do I get any exemption from income tax under section 80 E for the interest paid on education loan for higher education if the loan has been taken from an NBFC?

    Dear Ullas, yes, if it’s a registered NBFC, you can claim tax benefit on the interest of your education loan.
