As declared in the budget 2013-14: A Rs 2,000 credit back will be given to income tax payers in lower income group of Rs 2-5 lacs.

What exactly is this Tax credit? Is there a procedure to get this or it simply means that Rs. 2000 will be deducted out of my total tax liability
